Building on the success from OTM last month where Uganda won an award as the new most promising deatination, Uganda High Commission New Delhi in collaboration with Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Wildlife Authority and Uganda Airlines promoted Destination Uganda at  SATTE 2025, South East Asia's largest and most influential Travel and Tourism exhibition from 19th to 21st February 2025 at Yashobhoomi Convetion Centre in New Delhi.

This year's event hosted 2,000 Exhibitors and attracted more than 40,000 visitors from across the globe.

The highlight of Uganda's participation was an invitation as a panelist alongside India's leading tourism destinations namely United Kingdom, Qatar and Taiwan on the topic "India on the move: Cracking the code of outbound growth".

Mr Stephen Sanyi Masaba, Director of Tourism and Business Development at UWA pitched Uganda as an exclusive and unique alternative to the traditional destinations frequented by Indian travelers, offering Gorilla/Chimpanzee tracking; the magnificence and historicity of River Nile; and world class MICE facilities. It's worth noting India has registered the largest arrivals to Uganda for the last two FYs
